I didn't know it until now, but give me one of these with a topper. Sure it gets shite gas mileage, but 0-60 in under 7 seconds, a suspension good enough to autocross, and enough room to haul anything I need? Sign me up. I need to drive one of these

I really like the Colorado already. A lowered one with sport suspension is just icing on the cake in my eyes.

I hate sporty trucks. Well besides the SRT-10, but thats so ridiculous it doesn't count. Buying a sport truck means you want a vehicle that is bad at everything.

It can't do truck things now and its not anywhere near as good as a car at being sporty. Not to mention GM themselves have proven 300hp out of a V8 is pretty damn bad.

Please tell me how I can't tow something or put anything in the bed? It sill works just fine as a truck. It just loses some offroad ability which, lets be honest, if you're buying a lowered, more sporty version of a truck, you didn't plan on going off road.

When these trucks came out, the 5.3L V8 was making ~300 horsepower. Even now it's only making 55 more horsepower. So really it's not too far off

I'd being willing to bet a G8 GT with a hitch could do just about everything a colorado with a V8 can. Not to mention I just looked it up and it has basically the same drivetrain as my moms '01 silverado … but just in 2009.

My aunt had a I-5 Colorado a few years back and it was back at the dealer for warranty repairs every 2 months like clock work. IMO its GM at their worst.
